My name is Van and I am here to talk about Valentine's Day. It is a day for burning holes in your pocket, creating mindless poems, flirting for no reason and to show how you love your...loved ones(expected lah). Anyways I am here to tell you a theory about the origin of Valentine's Day.

The 'practical' theory

I was loitering around my uncle's house when suddenly someone told me that he was dead. I ran into his house and grabbed the will. In his will he said that all his research materials and results would be given to me, as seen in this quote "Whoever so bored to read this gets all the stuff I have(including gold bars and my mansion)."

I rushed to his lab to kope* his dollars. Then I saw this paper which was named 'Practical theory to the origin of Valentine's Day'(he was studying practical history). I was so intrigued that I threw the money in the the monsoon drain outside his house. Here are some excerpts:

"I have found out who created Valentine's. His name was Earnyl, who was a businessman selling presents for loved ones and pranks for hated ones. The economy was very bad in 2007, so he about to close shop*. He held an emergency meeting with his parrot and himself."

The events in the meeting are as follows:

Earnyl: Might as create a 'love' day, then sure alotta people buy from us one. But what name?

Parrot: Van Halen

Earnyl: Too rocky

Parrot: Vanlaten

Earnyl: NO! Valentine!!!=D=D=D=D

I am not able to give you so many things to listen, so heres a summary. They needed a logo, so Parrot suggested a flying baby, while the cruel and violent Earnyl suggested bow and arrows. Match them together and you get a baby which shoots arrows at the heart, resulting in an acute myocardial infarction...I mean the couple loving each other. The name of the logo was simple. Since Earnyl thought that his parrot was cute and stupid, it became Cupid.

After releasing this idea to the public, Vanstine became a hit!!! The business was quickly picking up and Earnyl's company received a lot of publicity.

I love V-day because when I was dating during that day at the monsoon drain, the drain started to have a river of gold bar. I rushed towards the gold bars and collected them all before my date could do anything.WOOHOO!
