My Reflection On E-Learning Day.

Of course the day off from school is good but laden with so much work is really stressing. The problem does not end here…Most of the instructions are not clear and there are a lot of bugs. For example…I cannot post my answers for the Geography questions and I cannot find any images attached to the file. Basically, everything is in a mess. The pupils are asking around how to do this and how to do that. Actually, what would have been better was actually just give one or two assignments and test it out. If it was successful, the school could then add more assignments.

The time allocated for the Mathematics quiz was too short. 1 hour is not enough. Some people may not have seen the time limit and thus missed it. The Chinese assignment cannot be accessed thus the worksheet given cannot be done. There was no problem for Science. Geography was the most distressing one of all. The game was ok. I followed everything on the instructions. The 6 questions were the problematic ones. I could not submit my replies. I was denied access although I gave my account particulars. Since I could not access the web page, I could not give my answers.

It could be that there are actually 3 levels doing the E-learning that is causing many problems in the system. So I suggest that we could have one day for each level, minimizing the problems. Overall, I would say that E-Learning day was not really successful.

E-Learning Day was a fun and memorable day for me as I had never had a school-day where we just stay at home and do the work that was given by our teachers over the internet. I think that having E-Learning Day was a good idea and hope that more of this event will come by in my years in ZhongHua.

I had also experience difficulties while I was doing my work and the survey. While I was doing my Geography work, I had to re-type all of the answers into the computer again because I had took too long to answer all the questions, thus the session had ended and I had to open the webpage another time and re-type the answer again. However, the second time, I was not careless anymore. I copied the answer into Microsoft Word as a back-up copy. While I was doing the teachers’ survey, after I had submitted the survey form, the internet would either display an error page or that I cannot respond to this survey again. The Mathematics quiz was also only opened from ten to eleven, when I was going to do the quiz, I found out that I had missed it by a few minutes!

However, even from all these difficulties, E-Learning Day has its advantages too. As we only can start our work at a later time, I can sleep till eight plus instead of the usual six o’clock, thus, I will be more refreshed and I can do my work better.

On E-learning day, we do not have to go to school and can study and learn at home in an environment we like. For example, eating while doing the assignments or doing the task while the room is with air-conditioner on. I enjoy this one good thing about E-learning Day.

In my opinion, I think E-Learning will be good only when it is held occasionally. We should not depend too much on computers for assignments or so, as sometimes there are errors in the web pages, problems with computers (computer break down, viruses etc.) and for some students, their parents did not believe that their children are doing homework, and disallowed them to use the computer.

For me, I do not really enjoy the E-learning lesson. This is because the workload is too much, the assignments are very boring, and the instructions given re simple and clear yet the task are complicated. Take geography’s for example.

Actually, I think E-learning day should be held every twice a year. Once a year is too little for us to truly experience it, and three or more is a bit too much. Therefore, I hope the E-learning day will be held once in each semester next year.

This is my first time ever to participate in the E-learning day. I do not enjoy it much, except for the part that I can be at home. I truly hope that next year, the school will make it more interesting with lesser workload and clearer instructions.

E-Learning Day Reflection

I think that E-Learning Day is very unique and special. It is the first time I did all my homework online and it was a new experience for me. I have never thought of doing my home online and the good thing is that we go online and do the home online. At home, we can start doing the homework online anytime we want and we can take a rest whenever we want. We can take a break or a nap if we want too. Unlike in school, even if we are hungry, we have to wait till the break time or after school before we can go and take a bite.

Not only that, we can listen to music and do our homework at the same time which is not allowed in school. While doing our homework, we can stop half-way for a rest and do other things we like. But in school, we are given a time limit for the work that is given to us. The E-Learning Day is also on a Friday and if students have no time to do the assignments given on that day, they can also do it on the weekend. Like for me, I was sick on the Thursday and Friday and I do not wish to go online as I wish to rest more and goin online strains my eyes. I felt better on the Sunday and started doing the assignments given.

However, doing all our homework online have some disadvantages too. For example, we cannot play and talk with our friends and teachers face to face. Not only that, if we have problems, we cannot ask our teachers and have to wait till the next school day. Some students would choose to play computer games or go out during the E-Learning Day and not do the assignments given. The students can also use this E-Learning Day as an excuse to cheat their parents and play computer games.

Overall, I still think that going to the school to study is better than doing assignments online. But the school should have more of such E-Learning Day as it can be a break for us, the students and it is interesting.

E-learning Reflection

E-Learning is quite unique, we do not need to go to school to study. However, we are at home using the computer to do our home work. It was really fun as we are to do the 5 subject online. We are able to study alone at home but not with other classmates in school. This E-Learning can help us to know more about doing home works online. This can help us to relieve stress as we do not need to face the teacher whole day to study. We can also choose which subject to do first unlike the school, there is timetable for us to follow.

This is a great experience to me as I can start learning new things to study online. This is quite useful as compare to school, we need to write with our hand. However, we just need to type the keyboard which is easier and less tiring. This also help those who are not looking forwards to school be able to do this E-Learning completely as the do not have any stress in school and scolded by teacher.

E-Learning is good but if there too much of it, students will soon not going to school to study but stayed at home study online. Is easier for us to study as this time we are doing self-reading of the textbook, but not the teacher teaching. I quite look forwards for more such activities as this is quite relaxing and can rest after doing for quite a long time whenever you want.

E-learning Day Reflection

E-learning day is a new experience for me. I have never thought of doing homework online. I think that it is a good idea. If we had to stay at home and cannot go to school for lessons, it is a brilliant way to study. But it has it's pros and cons too.

The pros are that we can stay at home to study in a way we are comfortable with, and we do not need to worry about going school late or forgetting any books and got punished by teachers. We can do the work at anytime we like, as long as we finished it before the deadline, etc.

The cons are that if they do not do their work, the teacher cannot punished them, and they can spend their day playing and only start work at night. They can play computer games while doing homework and so on.

But overall, i like the idea. It makes it Convenient for the pupils and we ca get better understanding of the topic by doing research while doing homework. I hope that we can have more of such things in school.\

E-Learning Day Reflection

I had been looking forward to E-Learning Day since it was officially announced. It was what I had always hoped for; a day where students like me need not wake up early in the morning to go to school.

I enjoyed E-Learning Day as we could sleep in later and enjoy having total freedom at home. In school, we had to plant ourselves on a chair for a few hours. Sometimes, when we had insufficient sleep the previous night, we would naturally feel sleepy and tired when the teachers are teaching. Being at home gives us the freedom to do whatever we want while doing our schoolwork. This way, we can concentrate more on our work. We could even ask our classmates some topics we do not understand through online chatting. Also, while reading and learning new topics, we can read through the resources over and over again until we understand it. This way, we would not need to trouble teachers if we could not fully understand the topic.

However, there are some disadvantages of having E-Learning Day. There was a time limit for assignments to be completed and not everyone could complete it in time. For example, for this E-Learning Day, we were told that the maths assignment had to be completed by a certain time. One of my friend’s internet connection was down for that period of time and therefore could not complete the assignment punctually.

This also shows us that the Internet is not fully reliable for online learning. The connection is not stable and if it was lost we would not be able to complete our tasks.

Another bad point is that the instructions given were not clear. I had to ask some of my friends for further understanding of the instructions. Also, there were some broken links and I could not access some sites even though it was stated that it would be open after 7a.m.

Also, I feel that too much work was assigned to us and too little time was given for us to complete it. We still had to complete other weekend assignments that our teachers gave us.

Overall, I pretty much enjoyed E-Learning Day. I look forward to more E-Learning Days in the future.

I think that this e-learning day is a very successful one. Clear instructions on the various assignments and activities were given to us and we were able to complete the tasks on time. I had gained knowledge when I was self-learning and doing the assignments given to us. I also did not experience any technical difficulty when I was trying to access to the e-learning website. I can easily access to all the website for the various subjects.

I also think that e-learning is also very convenient and useful. Through e-learning, we are able to learn the topics and do our assignments online. If any diseases or illnesses have broken out, we will still be able to learn through e-learning even though we cannot go to school. Our results will not become very lousy as we will still be able to catch up with our works after a period of time.

I really enjoy e-learning as I do not have to wake up so early in the morning to go school. I also do not have to worry that I will get detention if I am late for school. I enjoy the freedom of learning and doing assignments on my own without having to go to school. However, if we had too many days for e-learning, we will get use to it and we will not like to go to school anymore. We will think that it is very troublesome to go to school to study, we should just have e-learning for the whole year. We may also begin to play truant by climbing over the fence to get out of the school during school hours time. Even though, e-learning is useful and convenient, we cannot have too many e-learning days in a year. This is what I feel about e-learning day.

E-learning is something very new to my classmates and me. It is to prepare us for the days that we cannot go to school when something bad happen in the future. I think that E-learning is very successful as I really can do my homework using the computer at home.

The advantage of E-learning is that we can be at home. When I am at home, I can choose when to wake up. During school days, I must wake up very early and sometime I am too tired to concentrate during lessons time. When I woke up later, I was able to concentrate better on the E-learning activities. I was able to choose which subject to do first unlike in school, we have a timetable to follow. I was able to do my assignments in a very relax way. Although, I could not meet my classmates that day, all of us went online. We were able to communicate and ask each others about the questions that we did not understand. It was so fun to see so many people online.

However, there are still some disadvantages. Example like the mathematic quiz, we only have one hour to complete. It was very inconvenient for some of us that realize later. Lucky, I knew that it had timing for us. Some of the instructions were not clear too. Example, some of my friends did not know that the mathematic quiz was supposed to be written on the foolscap. My friends and I were confused where to post our geography answer. Some posted as a new discussion while some replied to the teacher’s discussion.

Overall , I would still prefer to have this e-learning and even more of this in the future. I would be glad to see more interesting activities plan for us.

The E-learning day was a very enjoyable one as we could stay at home and also at the same time, learn to use the internet to work. I hope that we could have more of these E-Learning Days because we can learn independent learning when we are doing our work online. Although I encountered some connection problems, the problems were soon fixed and I could work smoothly again. It was a quite a fruitful activity as we could learn at home, instead of our daily routine of waking up so early and going to the school. I enjoyed this activity but felt that the work given was too little. I suggest that we could have an E-Learning week, but in the same time, we can have more homework to complete. I appreciated the teachers’ efforts to make this E-Learning Day a successful one. I feel that during the next E-Learning Day, we can have work in all the subjects so that we can learn more things within a day, and furthermore, the Chinese work was a bit too easy as we were only asked to fill in a few blanks and note out the mistakes, maybe the teachers could make us do all the 3 passages instead of only one passage. The Ace-Learning could also be made slightly longer and having more questions instead of just 10 questions. On the whole, I feel that the entire E-Learning programme was a very successful one and I hope that we could have more of them.

These few days, I have been working on the E- Learning work and found out that there are pros and cons about this E- Learning work.

For the pros, I think that the E- Learning activities are very interesting. We can do a lot of research on a specific homework. We can learn a lot from doing research. If it is a school day, we will not get to learn so much information that is out of the book. We will not have so much time to do our research on it because we have to go to school in the morning and do our homework given by different subject teachers in the afternoon till night.

When we have this E- Learning Day, we can find out more as we have more time to work on the homework. I think E- Learning Day is quite good as we can learn thing that is out of the book.

However, there are some cons about this E- Learning Day. Students who do not have computers or printers at home will have to come back to school to do their work. And some students will have trouble knowing what to do. Some students will be oblivious to the surroundings as all the instructions are not given by the teachers but online. Some would be puzzled on what to do when they do not understand the instructions.

Even though there are some help lines we can go to, some students may not use them. They would rather go out to play and go back to school giving excuses that they did not know what to do.

Thus, I think that for E- Learning Day there would be both pros and cons.

I suggest that if there is E- Learning Day, it can be on Fridays as I think that one day is not enough for us to do all the research after I had done the work.

I feel that the E-learning day was a fun one as we are able to learn using the portal at home, at the same time revising what we have learnt previously. Still, I do not think that the goal of E-learning day, which is to prepare us for doing out work using the internet in case any disasters strike again, for example SARS. Some of the worksheets were needed to be printed. Personally, my house printer has broke down and hence could not print the worksheets at home. I believe many others have encountered the same problem too.

I think that the teachers have overwhelmed us with homework during the E-learning. Some of the worksheets even required information from the textbook, which some of us did not bring back. Hence not able to answer the questions. Overall, I do think that the E-learning day is enjoyable, but the teachers should set it that we do not need to print any worksheets out.

Reflection on E-Learning Day
Personally, I do not like E-Learning Day. Although E-Learning Day has the good point that students do not have to go to school and having lessons. But I think the E-Learning Day also have shortcomings. For example, for those whose home do not internet connection, they still have to go to school and do the ace learning. Sometimes if the student cannot remember the user ID and the password for log in or the computer lab is full, they have to look for other places to do. Also, no matter how good is the internet, the teacher is the best. The internet cannot explain clearer than the teacher. And for the E-Learning Day, we cannot learn much things using the Internet and still have to do a lot of homework.
However, I think this year’s E-Learning Day is still success because there are a huge number of zhonghuarians prefer do the homework at home to go to the school and sit in the class for whole day and listen to teacher’s talk. I suggest the school organize the E-Learning Day for about once a year.

After this E- learning day, I found that using computer to do homework is quite interesting but I think that this event is not a very good idea. The bad thing is that the homework load is too heavy and we cannot finish it by the E-learning day. This can also get quite inconvenient for the students without internet access. They would also need to waste quite a lot of time going to school and coming back from school. At the point of time when i heard the news of having an E-learning day, I thought that it will be very useful and I can get to know a lot more new knowledge. But after this E-learning day, I think that this activitiy is just for us to search the web and copy down whatever we find. I believe that we should not have 'E-learning day' in the future as this is also quite harmful to our eyesights and we can get quite dizzy sometimes when we stare at the computer for too long. In my opinion, i think that having this E-learning day is a wastage of time as I cannot really understand what the internet is saying about and we cannot have the chance to ask questions. We will also have the habit of chatting while doing homework, which will distract us and thus, we cannot concentrate on our work. And what if there are two users at home, it may be quite difficult to arrange the timing of using the computer. Those who are not familiar with the keyboard may have difficulty searching the alphabets and this will be time consuming. In my opinion, i think that the ministry of education should give each of the students a laptop if they want to carry on this event so that this can minimize the number of students going out borrowing or renting a computer just to have internet access. But of course, I still appreciate the teachers' effort in practising this E-learning day.

E-learning day is a new experience to me as I have never done it before. On this day, students need not go to school as we have to stay at home to do our online homework assigned to us by our respective teachers. This is a good idea to prepare students for the unpredictable emergencies that might happen in the future.

There are advantage and disadvantage for this day. Students are able to work at home with unlimited time given to us to complete the work over the weekend execpt for one homework, which is maths. The quiz for maths is only available to us for only one hour. Some students skip the quiz as they did not do it within the time limit. Being the lucky one to do the quiz before the time limit end, I send the questions from the quiz to three of my friends. I do not encourage assignments online with a time limit, especially when students are not notify about it.

Secondly, the instructions given to us to complete the work is not specified clearly. I believe many students recieve phone calls from their classmates, asking about the online homework. I took some time to understand the instructions, and I heard that some of my friends have even do the wrong assignments. This is one point which I hope the school can work on.

Lastly, the workload given to us is a lot more than normal school days. Other than the online homework, we also have written work given by teachers for us to complete over the weekend. Thus, when all the homework are added together, it is just like a huge mountain of homework.

My conclusion is that I enjoyed having E-learning day, but cutting down the amount of work given online and having more specified instructions will be better. I believe many students will look forward to having more E-learning days, as this is yet another fun way for us to learn in a different way.

Reflections

I think that e-learning is something interesting because I have not done it before. It is better than sitting in class and listening to some of the teachers teaching lessons. I was excited when the day came but I was unable to understand some of the instructions given by the teachers, and some of the homework were unable to save and post.

Although I think that e-learning is fun, but I think the teachers have given too little time for us to complete the given assignments, especially for the people who came to school to do. If the students had ccas, they would have little time for them to complete the homework. Some of my friends had ccas on that day so when they came back they were really tired to stare at the computers and do their homework.

E-learning is a new experience for me and my classmates. We can learn a lot of things although we do not need to go to school. We can do our homework at any time we want to and also, we can eat while doing the given assignments. However, some students will be in a hurry to do their homework as they want to go out and play, so they do finish their homework in one go and this may hurt their eyes when they stare their eyes at the computer for too long. Hence, I think the teachers should assign lesser homework for us to do.

Overall, I find this e-learning day meaningful and fun. Hence, I think they should have more of these e-learning days ahead.

E-Learning Day Reflection

E-Learning Day is really a new to me as I have never tried it before. It is better than sitting in class listening to teachers teaching in class. The classes may be boring at times and the students will not concentrate. When the students are not concentrating, they will not learn anything. E-Learning Day is something that will make us concentrate in it and also makes sure that we complete our assignments on time. It trains us to be more responsible and serious with our work.

Although E-Learning Day is overall really good, but there are also some negative points. For example, the instructions, they are not clear enough. Also, the time limit for the math assignment caused many students to skip the assignment. As the time limit is from 10am – 11am, students who started doing their assignments after 11am may miss the math assignment.

Secondly, I think that the school should tell us what we should prepare for the E-Learning Day. (Eg. Textbooks, notes, etc.) As there are some subjects that require us to refer to our textbooks and some students, like me, may have left their textbooks in the lockers and are unable to refer to the textbooks to understand more about what they are asking.

All in all, I think the E-Learning day is really successful and also, we should have more of these events next time.

E-Learning Day Reflection

I think that we should have more E-learning day. Although we do not need to go to school on E-learning day, but that does not mean that we do not have any homework to do or learn any new things. We still need to do our homework online and learn new things online.
The best part about E-learning day is not about not going to the school. It is that we can study on our own pace. When we are in the school, different teacher teaches us at different pace. So some teacher may teach in a fast pace, but some students are slow learners, so they cannot understand the teacher. So during E-learning days we can study at our own pace.

Vincent's E-learning Day Reflection

I have always wanted something like E-learning to happen as it allows us to learn from the internet with the freedom from time constriction, so I felt very excited when I heard about our school organising this E-learning Day.

I enjoyed E-learning as you could choose what you want to do first and you can also take a break after doing some assignments. We could also communicate with our friends using other methods and we do not have to wake up so early.

However, nothing is without flaws. The some of the instructions on the website were not clear. I was confused on what I was supposed to do and I took some time to understand the instructions. I also got many phone calls and e-mails from my classmates asking what they were supposed to do. Some of the links given were broken or directed us to a place in which we have to find out where the documents are. Finding them wasted precious time that could have been used to do more work.

There was also a time limit on one of the assignments, so if we miss it, we do not have a second chance to do it. I was one of those who missed it and luckily my friend sent me the questions. I think the time limit should be extended, if better still, there should not be any time limits at all.

Lastly, there was too much work to be done. Our teachers gave us some homework to do during the weekend. If we add those together, the amount of homework is akin to a mountain. Those who did not clear some homework on Friday and Saturday will experience a very huge burden on Sunday as they try to finish everything in the eleventh hour.

To end off, I think this year’s E-learning is a success in terms of learning online, but there are some major flaws that need to be addressed to make it a completely pleasant way of learning.

Anthony's Reflections on E-learning Day

Today is Friday, 13 July, which is our E-learning Day. It was a day which we need not go to school. We just had to do our homework online on that day. Such days are held just in case we cannot go to school one day because of whatever outbreaks of diseases. Our class had Chinese, Geography, Science, Maths and English homework. I enjoyed about the survey the most because I can finally know what I think about my teacher after they had taught me for one semester. I enjoyed doing the Geography homework the most as it was quite easy. My opinion of E-learning is that it is a very useful site as we would not have to worry if any disaster strike one day. On the internet, we can still do our homework without being affected by the disaster. Through E-learning, we can also learn many lessons like following instructions given to you and be responsible. E-learning also teaches us to be fast when doing our homework because the limit time is only one day. One example would be the Maths assignment. The instructions given says that the Maths homework is only available from ten o'clock to eleven o'clock so we do not know whether the 11.00 is in the afternoon or midnight. Luckily, I had done it early in the morning so I do not have to worry. I really hope that there would be more E-learning day because it is very useful.

Jingpin's E-learning Day Reflection

I personally think that e-learning is something subjective because the hardworking ones will take the opportunity to learn more. However, the others may think otherwise. I think that E-learning can only be successful only that the instruction is clear to allow all pupils to understand. Therefore, they can do the work as instructed by the teacher.
E-learning has its good points and its bad points. It can allow students to relax more than normal school days as students can rest more. However, this may lead students to sleep late at night which is bad for both the health and the studies. E-learning also encourage studies in a fun and exciting way. However, the homework load planned for all levels are too much to finish. The math’s quizzes also opened only from 10 to 11 which most people are unaware of. I think that the school can add in learning previews so student can learn more.
I know that E-learning is planned for us to get prepared for unexpected diseases that may affect our studies. I think that E-learning 2007 is successful but more can be done to improve. I hope to see clearer instruction by E-learning 2008.
In all, E-learning is quite useful to students but the workload can decreases to meet the students’ requirement. Even though, I look forward to E-learning next year.

E-Learning Day Reflection.

Personally, I think that E-Learning Day is qutie successful because the students are able to do their work online without going to school. This day is almost the same as normal schoo days because the students can also communicate, only through MSN Live Messenger or MSN Messenger. But there are also some bad points on the E-Learning Day.

Firstly, the instructions for the assignments were not very clear. Most of my friends could not understand them clearly, and thus, there were much of confusion around. So, it was difficult to do the work that time.

Secondly, some of the works we were given could not be found on the website, so my friends and I took quite some time before we found the work we were supposed to do. So, we feel that this is not a relly good thing as we wasted time.

I know that this E-Learning Day occurs is to prepare us to do homework at home as there might be diseases out there in the future, but there are still room for improvements. Overall, I feel that the work given was more than the work given in school, so after doing the assignments, I was very tired as I stared at the Computer for very long. So, I suggest to have lesser work for us to do the next time. On this E-Learning Day, I have enjoyed myself while doing the work and communicating with friends through MSN, at the same time, I also miss my friends. But I hope that there would be more E-Learning Days.

Reflections on e-learning day // 4:18 PM.

E-learning day is a very new experience to me as this is the first time I'm having it. I think that this is a good idea because this can prepare us for the format of lessons and homework that will be given during future unseen emergencies that can happen.

E-learning day is a day for us students to have our lessons and homework at home, this is quite relaxing as there is no competition among students about who does what first and there are also no distractions when work is being done in school.

Although e-learning day has its many advantages, this does not mean that there are no disadvantages about it at all. The disadvantages for this time's e-learning day is that the workload is a lot more than normal school days and what's more, there is a specific timing for the doing of homework for certain subjects as well.

I do not encourage timing for homework as this gives us students stress when this day is supposed to be stress free. Some of us students are also required to go back to school for certain events and cannot meet the timing for these homework to be done, thus, we cannot hand up our homework on the due date. An example of such an incident is the subject Mathematics.

Overall, if there is to be another e-learning day, I won't mind becauseI find e-learning day enjoyable and fun except for the heavy workload and the limited timing given to the students.

English Reflection On E-learning

I think that after going through the first round of e-learning day, I found it really interesting, and new to me. It's my first time doing such activities like this, and it is very refreshing to me. I think that the school is really creative to come out with such programme that allow us to study at home.
Although it was fun and interesting, I met some problems when doing the homework assigned. I did not access to the maths quizzes within the time designated and so, I was not able to start the maths homework. However, I was lucky to have one of my friend that typed out the maths question for me to do. It really saved me a lot of trouble. Anyway, besides that, I was also stuck with geography. The instructions on the Sharepoint Portal was not too clear. Thus, I went to the wrong page and downloaded the wrong instruction to complete the assignments. After I finished the wrong assignment without even realizing it that it was suppose to be the Normal Academic and the Normal Technical’s assignment, I wanted to post it at the discussion board. That’s when I realized other people’s answer were different from mine. So in the end after figuring out, I had to redo the whole thing and had wasted a lot of time just completing it.

In conclusion, I don’t mind having another e-learning day, but I sure do hope it can get more organized and explain the instructions clearer. Overall, I did enjoy my first e-learning experience.

E-learning day reflection

E-learning is making use of the computer and the Internet, to do school work while at home. The first E-learning I had in zhonghua was the ace leaning. The mathematics programme was interesting and had a lot of content. Today, it is the first E learning day that I have experienced. I did not start my work early, at 10 a.m. after logging on to the website, and looking at the surveys and the number of subjects, I thought that it was not a lot of work to be done.
After reading through all the instructions, I got started with ace learning first. It was not difficult and I was lucky to finish it in the time limit, as I was not aware that it is only available from 10a.m. to 11a.m. Moving on to mother tongue. It took me a longer time than the ace learning to complete it, but it was not so difficult too.
Visiting the science websites really did increase my knowledge. I printed out the work sheet and left it untouched for a long time, as I felt that there is a lot to do. Geography is the worst! After going into the geography site, printing the instructions, I felt the workload coming. There were lots to do and plus the homework on Thursday, I doubt I could finish it on time.I think that I do not really enjoy E-learning day and I discourage other E-learning days in the future as I think that there is too much workload.

Although there is much more freedom and much more time for students to complete their assignments, the students might not be able to complete their assignments due to several reasons such as:-No internet access.-Not enough time.-Don’t understand the requirements of their teachers.-not being able to access the school website for the assignments.For those who do not have access to internet at home, they would have to come to school to use the computers in the computer lab, but if the computer lab closes too early, students who are using the computers in the lab might not be able to complete their online assignments in one day. For example, the computer lab opened at 8.00 am and closed at 12.50 pm on 13 July ’07 which is E-Learning Day, the students who had no access to the internet at home had only 4 ½ hours to complete their online assignments in school, which surely was not enough.For some students, even if they had access to the internet at home, they might not have the time to complete all the assignments on time, as they would have other activities going on in school or other places. These activities could end in the late afternoons and students would only have the chance to do the assignments in the evening or night.There are some students who do not understand the requirements of their teachers. The teachers should give crystal-clear instructions so that the students will understand the assignments and finish them on time.
