Reflection on bullying
I think that bullying is a very foolish thing to do. It is an unnecessary act that will not only harm others, get you your own way through violence, but also get you into trouble with the authorities.
According to the Longman’s Dictionary of Contemporary English, bullying means ‘to threaten to hurt someone or frighten them, especially someone who is smaller or weaker.’
Another way of looking at a bully is that he or she is a coward. The meaning given in the Longman’s Dictionary of Contemporary English shows that a bully only picks a victim who is smaller and weaker instead of picking someone of his or her’s own size, which is not fair.
Bullies are hated by everyone because they cause trouble and harm everywhere they go. They make people fear them by using threats of violence, but of course, violence does not solve anything.
An effective way to face a bully is to report to the authorities. Do not ever retaliate as you will also get into trouble for harming the bully.
Solving problems through bullying is childish and immature. The best way to solve problems is through diplomacy, peace talking.
One should never turn to bullying no matter what happens.
It can destroy your future and make you despised by all.
