Nowadays, everyone is striving to look good and plastic surgery is becoming very common, espacially in competitive countries like Korea and Japan. With the growing importance of our image and appearance, many are considering plastic surgery as an option.

Teenagers are also becoming self-conscious and are more obsessed with their looks. Many teenagers can be seen with dyed hair, piercings, and so on. Adults and teenagers alike follow trends in order to look good and to fit in with their peers.Our perception of what is trendy changes mainly because of the media's influence on us.

While it is natural for people to care about their appearance, some are overdoing it by going for plastic surgery. By altering one's physical appearance, it is unnatural and there are risks involved as well. For instance, when done incorrectly, plastic surgery may look unnatural or in more severe cases, it may make one look worse.

Also, plastic surgery is a waste of time and money. Beauty is skin deep. We should not judge others by their looks, instead, we should get to know the person's character and personality. Looks are not as important, because a stunning personality can easily outshine a dull appearance.
