Nowdays, teenagers are getting more and more obessed with their looks. Walking on the streets, you could already see teenagers as young as 13, putting up mascara, eyeshadows, lipsticks, etc. They are easily influenced by their idols, which they think are perfect. They want to be like their idols, to look like them, to dress like them. And they are willing to do anything that makes them look good, even to the exent that many of them are considering getting plastic surgery.
Plastic survery have become so common and that every year, patients are becoming younger and younger. Plastic Surgery do make you look nicer, but it is still FAKE. It is like putting on a mask. Getting plastic surgery is also very expensive, here, we are not talking one or two hundreds, but a few thousands. I think that our natural looks are still the best and we should not waste money on this.
And also, I think that it is the inter qualities in the person that matters. For example, A, good looking, but have an evil heart. B, ugly-looking, but have a kind heart. Compare A and B, who do you think people will like? Of course is B, even if you are pretty, but have a evil heart, people will not like you. Looks are just a temporary impression in people. Just like A, she may look good, but after a certain period of time, when others see the real side of her, evil and unkind, they will soon leave her.
Anyways, for teenagers, I think that studies are still the most important thing now. They should focuse on their studies rather than being obessed over their looks. It is your studies that will lead to your future. If you have a good results, you will have a bright future waiting for you. But now, if you do not study, but only care about your looks, you may end up near the rubbish bin, crying and saying "Why didn't I study hard?".
In overall, I disagree of teenagers that resort to getting plastic surgery just because they want to look good.
